  3. Here we will take the HP C7115A (15A) toner cartridge as an example to show the most common problem of printing results being of poor quality. HP C7115A (15A) Toner Cartridge Printer Ink Cartridges | Barn Road, Battsland, Dunleer, Co Louth | www.printerinkcartridges.ie

  4. What Are Its Causes: • Most commonly this problem occurs when a piece of paper is stuck between the drum and the retaining blade. • The cartridge toner is transferred from the drum to the paper and the remaining toner is swept to the waste bin using the wiper blade. • The retaining blade in case of a problem seals the waste bin preventing any left over toner to escape to the waste bin and that blots on your printed paper. 5. In the steps below find the solution for overcoming this problem: • Turn the cartridge over it's back. • Pull back the drum shutter to open it and see whether the retaining blade has shut the waste bin escape. 6. A closer look into the drum shows it has been soiled by the toner. • A piece of paper can be seen stuck between the blade and drum Printer Ink Cartridges | Barn Road, Battsland, Dunleer, Co Louth | www.printerinkcartridges.ie

  7. To remove the paper follow the steps below: • Push the paper back into waste bin using a stiff piece or card ( eg. Postcard). • After the paper is removed the drum unit will get cleaned by running it’s self cleaning mechanism. • Look at the back of piece of paper just removed from the drum unit, it gives a clue as to whether there is any toner powder left in the printer. • To clean the printer of any traces of leaked toner powder use a lint free cloth to clean it.
