  3. All Year Groups Bellahouston/GlasgowSchool of Sport 5: 0 Loretto School, Edinburgh Congratulations to the Bellahouston/GSOS Hockey team who are now through to the Open Scottish Cup quarter finals with a comprehensive 5-0 win against Loretto School. In a very competitive game Loretto forced 3 early saves from Bella’s Jack Cochrane, but Bella/GSOS stepped up and looked very solid in defence. Bellahouston grew in confidence and after great work from Andrew McAllister, Luke Cranney’s deflection from a Dean Baber cross was saved and Alan Johnstone was on hand to push the ball in from close range. Bellahouston were in control in the second half and, aiming to build on the 1 goal advantage, Luke Cranney deflected in a Chris McFadden pass from a penalty corner and scored! Next, it was the S2 show with Fraser Moran linking up well with Euan Cochrane and he crossed for Andrew McAllister to deflect home from close range. Luke Cranney got his second goal after Euan Cochrane held the ball up splendidly, drawing in 3 defenders and skilfully off loading the ball for a neat finish from close range (4-0). In the dying seconds Euan Cochrane was rewarded for his efforts with a great finish at the back post to make it a 5-0 win! Well done to all the players and special mention to Logan McClure who played very well in goals and to Cameron Weir who performed well on his debut for the senior team. Team Jack Cochrane, Dean Baber, Chris McFadden, Rory McClure, Declan Munoz, Fraser Ward, Alan Johnstone, Jack Jamieson, Luke Cranney, Fraser Moran, Andrew McAllister, Euan Cochrane, Cameron Weir, Logan McClure.
