Make It Count • Scheduling Classes: • Encourage career related courses. • Medical: bio-chemistry, anatomy, biology • Music: choir, band, music theory • Start talking about it now! • The more you talk about it now, the more they will want to talk to YOU about it later. • College Visits • 2 excused absences Junior year • 4 excused absences Senior year

Academically Plan for College:GPA & Test Scores • Cumulative GPA & Class Rank • Cumulative means everything between 9th- 11th grade. • Each quarter counts! • Don’t hesitate to get them a tutor. • Pay little now, so you don’t have to pay BIG later. • ACT & SAT tests • Take test preparation classes • ACT Prep is offered at TCS as a semester course • Practice, practice! • Take it, then retake it - pay little now, so you don’t have to pay BIG later.
