You will use the following questions to analyze these primary sources: • What do you see? • What do you smell? • What sounds do you hear? • What are the feelings that the people are exhibiting picture? • If you were interviewing the subjects, what would they say. (include their quote) • What are your feelings about the photo?

You will explain the hardships and experiences you have seen as you traveled through the country as a photographer. • You will explain to the president why you, as a photographer, can comment on the human impact of the Great Depression. • You will write the president 3 suggestions on how help the people you have seen. • Include 8 of the following words in your letter: • Hope, security, fear, desperation, change, pride, perseverance, exploitation, desire, values, work ethic, rejected, excluded, depressed, encourage, togetherness, worth, faith.
