  3. Change Control • Change control is not an easy task • Integrate change control must cater for factors like: • Triple Constraint (time, scope, cost) • Risks • Quality • Employee Morale • Stakeholders’ satisfaction • Etc.

  4. Change Control Board • Approves, defers, or rejects change requests • Typical members: • Project Manager (leads the board) ??? • Project team members • Customer Representatives • Configuration Manager (serves as secretary)

Prerequisite for Change Control • Proper Requirements Management • Document and classify requirements changes • Determine if the change is within scope • Analyze the change for impact • Submit the change for approval • Allocate & trace approved requirements • Configuration Management Processes • Identify and document characteristics • Control changes to characteristics • Record and report changes & their implementation status • Audit items
