  3. FIRE-RESISTANCE BUILDINGS Since these buildings have fire-resistant ratings, non- combustible materials are used to make the floors, walls, partitions and roofs. Generally, these buildings are 75-feet tall and made using protective steel and poured concrete.   4. NON-COMBUSTIBLE BUILDINGS The primary difference between non-combustible and fire- resistance building is that the former has less fire resistance qualities. Non-combustible buildings are not capable of preventing the spread of fire like fire-resistance buildings.   5. HEAVY TIMBER BUILDINGS The interior elements and exterior walls of a heavy timber building are non-combustible as they are made using laminated or solid wood. Every wooden member used to construct these buildings has to meet the dimensional requirements.   6. WOOD-FRAMED BUILDINGS A majority of the builders in Esher specialise in constructing wood-framed buildings which is commonly found in modern homes. The combustible walls, floors, structural frames and roofs are made of wood (entirely or partly).
