  2. MrDipak Sharma teaches in a tutorial. He is a reputed English teacher in Kolkata. He lives in Gariahat and teaches students online. In a class, he was teaching the students about portmanteau words. Dipak asked, “ Do You know about advertainment?” Jyoti was attending the online class. She said, “ Yes, it is a word combining advertisement and entertainment.”

  3. Dipak said, “What is advertorial?” Jyoti replied, “It is a combination of advertisement and editorial.” Dipak said, “Correct! Do you know the meaning of affluenza?” Jyoti said, “It is a combination of affluence and influenza.”

  4. Dipak had another student online named Joseph. He asked Joseph, “Do you know bionic?” Joseph replied, “It is a combination of biology and electronic.” Dipak said, “Correct! Do you know about diabesity?” Joseph said, “ It is a mixture of diabetes and obesity. “

  5. Dipak said, “ Great! Fantabulous, have you heard this word?” Joseph said, “ No!” Dipak said, “It is a mixture of fantastic and fabulous. Are you aware about Fanzine?” Joseph replied, “ It is a mixture of fan and magazine.” Dipak said, “ Correct! Do you have any idea of globish?”

  6. Joseph said, “ It is a word combing global and English.” Dipak asked, “ Do you know about infomercial topics?” Joseph said, “ These topics are a mixture of information and communication.” Dipak asked, “ Do you know Franglish?”

  7. Joseph replied, “It is a mixture of French and English.” Dipak asked, “ Another interesting word is Moblog, any idea?” Joseph said, “ It is a mixture of mobile and weblog.” Dipak asked, “ Any idea of stagflation?”

  8. Now Dipika joined the online class. Dipika replied, “ It is a mixture of stagnation and inflation.” Dipak asked, “ Any idea of telegenic?” Dipika said, “It is a mixture of television and photogenic.” Dipak said, “Ok students! Thanks for joining the class! See you next time!”
