The process begins with picking the material that will be used for producing the product. The fabric is chosen as per the requirements of the product. So for the products like cushions or socks soft fabrics are chosen. They chose the best option as per the need of the product. The designers that have control over this part of the process have a lot of decisions to make. Apart from picking the fabric they also have to consider what fibre types, kind of dyes or yarn sizes will be used, as well as how those dyes will be applied. Will these designs be printed by hand or with a machine? Should the fabrics be left natural or bleached? Will there be any need of embroidering or sewing any parts of the design? There are many factors to think about. Creating the Design After deciding on what type of materials will be used, one should actually start creating the design. The design has to meet both the practical and aesthetic needs of the final product. The reputed companies want their products to be fun, bright, and colorful as per the requirements of the targeted consumers. The designs should reflect those needs, but in a way that works best for the consumers. Doing all this is impossible without the skilled work of a textile designer who is highly experienced to handle the task.
