  5. Calendars • Plant Calendar • Workcenter Calendar • Supplier Calendar

  6. Why Calendars Are Important Plant/Workcenter Prevents the calculated Receive Date from being on a holiday/non-working day Supplier Prevents the calculated Ship Date from being on a holiday/non-working day

  7. Why Supplier Calendar Is Important Generally How the Supplier Calendar is Used • Card is released and the Release Date and Time is set • Get the lead time for the Item • Add the Lead Time to the Released Date and Time • Calculate the Ship time taking into account any holidays on the calendar during the lead time – if the Ship day then happens to be a non-working day then it is moved to the next supplier working day.

  8. Why Plant/Workcenter Calendar Is Important Generally How the Plant/Workcenter Calendar is Used • Take the Supplier Ship date and add the Transit time • Checks the plant calendar to see if this date is a working day for the plant, if so, then it sets the Required Receive Date • If that day is a non-working day then Ultriva selects the next working day for the plant as the Required Receive Date
