  11. Economics • Economics- the study of buying/selling, making products, money, businesses, and much more. • Example: You use economics nearly everyday of your life, you study prices and items and choose the best and usually cheapest one to buy.

  13. The world around you! • Economics is everywhere. • However, economics can be broken down into smaller easier pieces. • Easier Pieces: • Wants and Needs • Resources (Land, Money, Labor) • Production and Consumption • Choice and Scarcity

  14. People Want EVERYTHING!!!! • Everyone wants something. There is never something that a person does not want. However, you can’t get everything. • Basic Wants: (Things you need to live) • Food, Clothing, and Shelter • Human beings are not satisfied with these. • Humans want more: entertainment, education, healthcare. • Think of it this way: HUMANS = UNLIMITED WANTS Messin With Sasquatch
