Extend the life of your assets with polymer lining inside steel vessels, pipes, and fittings. Polymer lining protects your assets from acids, alkalis, oxidizers & solvents by applying a layer of polyethylene enriched with corrosion-resistant chemicals.

What makes a polymer lining stand out from other linings is that its lining process forms a protective layer of 2-11 mm thickness which is maximum compared to all other linings.

POLYETHYLENE (ROTO) LINING What is Polyethylene / Roto Lining ? Roto lining is a technique that allows a chemically modified polyethylene & various materials to bond with metals to line metal vessels, chemical storage tanks, carbon steel pipes and fittings. The rotational molding process allows a seamless lining of 2 - 8 mm thick to the interior surfaces of the carbon steel pipes, fittings and vessels. 10
BENEFITS OF ROTO LINING Ø Excellent Resistance to Corrosion from v Acids , Alkalies and Salts Ø Seamless / Joint free Lining Ø Easier to Line Complex Shapes Ø Thicker Lining & Uniform wall thickness Ø Fast processing time Ø Longer ‘Life-Cycle’ compared to other lining Ø Process controls by sophisticated PLC 11
APPLICATIONS Ø Saline Water Handling Systems v Oil & Gas Sector v Ballast Water v Water Based Fire Fighting Systems v Water Treatment Plants Ø Chemicals Sector v Acid Tanker & Vessels v Reactors & Receivers v Transmission lines Ø Critical Spares Replacement …. 12
INDUSTRIES Ø Oil & Gas Industries Ø Petrochemicals & Chemical Transport Ø Ship Building & Ship Maintenance Ø Water Treatment & Water Handling Ø Thermal Power Plants Ø MEP and Maintenance Contractors Ø Fertilizers Ø And many more. 13

Pre Lining Inspection Visual Inspection: All welding joints should be properly grounded and should be free from any burrs. The inside surface of spools should be free from dust/grease/oily residue or any foreign materials 15
Preparation Grit Blasting: Coarse Grit blasting is done using Steel Grit, for better adhesion on internal surface as per ISO standard 16
Preparation Surface Profile : Surface profile test after grit blasting is carried out as per ASTM Standard Salt Contamination Test: Is carried out as per SSPC Guideline prior to starting lining. 17
Molding Process • Carried out using a highly sophisticated machine with finest process monitoring & controls • Each article requires different preparation procedure and different processing. Roto lining process ensures an excellent plastic to metal bonding. 18
Finishing 19
Final Product Inspection & Testing Thickness Test (ASTM Standard) Hammer Test Spark Test: 100% holiday testing or spark testing is performed to insure liner integrity. Spark test is performed with 15 KV DC. 20
Final Product Inspection & Testing Adhesion Test: Adhesion test is conducted on different samples. Lining sample is done on flat sheet. Mechanical Properties Test: Tensile test Compressive Hardness Izod Impact as per ASTM standard 21
