  2. Next Slide Exit The parents of Eugene Randall, Albert Davis and Maria (Jayne) Randall were born and raised on Long Island. Albert was born in Ridge and Maria in Smithtown. In 1855, Albert and Maria moved to Winona, MN where he was a school teacher, merchant and lawyer. Eugene, their second child was born in 1859. This is a record of the descendants of Eugene Wilson Randall, based on his own compilation and supplemented by his great grandson, Randy Quale.

He graduated from Winona State Normal School in 1879, taught in district schools for four years, was principal of Morris High School from 1880 through 1882, and was Editor of the Morris Tribune newspaper from 1882 through 1888. Slide He was the Secretary of the Minnesota State Agricultural Society from 1895 through 1907, Dean and Director of the Department of Agriculture of the University of Minnesota in 1907 and 1908. He was also President of the Minnesota Mutual Life Insurance Company in St. Paul from 1908 through 1928, then was elected Chairman of the Board, serving until he was 76 years old. He and is wife, Eudora Adelia Stone lived in St. Paul.
