  1. Kick Your Pain to the Curb with Physiotherapy Physiotherapy is an excellent method of pain management and has been used for decades in the medical community. Physiotherapy treatment can be very beneficial, however; it does require that you find a good and competent physiotherapist in order to obtain adequate therapy. If you are suffering from chronic pain such as lower back pain, joint pain, neck pain, or whiplash pain you should consider seeking out professional physiotherapy treatment. Your therapist will help you determine the cause of your pain and recommend an effective course of action to cure your pain. When seeking out treatment, you should always keep in mind that whilst some forms of pain are treatable through natural means; others are not and it is important to seek professional advice from your physician before attempting any alternative therapies. As with any illness or injury, prevention is always better than cure. In order to prevent further pain from developing, a good pre-oxygenation level is necessary. Many people fail to reach this required level of oxygen due to a lack of exercise or being sedentary. A good massage as part of a pre- oxygenation physiotherapy treatment can improve the flow of oxygen throughout your body. By increasing the flow of oxygen to your cells, physiotherapy treatments increase the benefits of pain management and pain relief. Be sure to discuss with your Physiotherapist what medication would be best for your particular treatment. While painkillers may be effective, they come with side effects that you don't need when treating your condition.
