  1. We present several LBT web tools to plan organize and schedule observations. LBT Web Services and Scheduler Authors:Stefano Gallozzi Diego Paris Adriano Fontana Vincenzo Testa

  2. LBT Scheduler to Plan and Organize LBT Observations • The LBT Scheduler is a web tool designed to efficiently improve the • LBT Centro di Coordinamento alle Osservazioni's operations, • In particular to evaluate, organize, plan and perform LBT observations • There are three main access level: • LBT TAC • LBT Observer • LBT PI • LBT admin The TAC programs and evaluate the ranking for each submitted proposal The Observer performs the observation according to proposal ranking, Constraints and weather forecast The PI enters in the Scheduler through the LSC Data Centre and takes trace of performed observations, submits Observing Blocks, monitors the state of Observing Runs and plans future LBT Observations The Admin take care of the back-office operation of the database, ingests proposals and observing runs

  3. LBT TAC

  4. LBT OBSERVER

  5. fontana ******* LBT PI For PI users the Scheduler pages are similar to those of OBSERVER users without editing possibility but with Observing Block upload feature

  6. LBT Admin BACKOFFICE

  7. Lets Take a look now on the LBT Survey Data Centre

  8. LBT Survey Centre DB Tools The LBT Survey Centre is a web Portal especially designed for Italian P.I. users in order to retrieve and interact with LBT pre-reduced and final observational datas. The aim of our web portal is to help PI users to interact friendly with LSC Team Members in order to obtain all best reduced scientific images needed for their studies to reach the most scientific impact for LBT observation. • From LSC web portal it is possible: • Query/view/download reduced images (private and public) • Take a look on the reduction status of Observing Plans • Interact with LSC Team with wiki-page and a message utility • Switch to LBT Scheduler to plan and monitor Observations • View Gallery, APOD and RSS feeds

  9. compute Observability of a target To view file properties To download selected files: email notification get VO-table LBT Survey Centre Image DB

  10. Read and leave a post or document in the Wiki-Page View Reduction Status Send Messages through the Portal to other users for collaboration LBT Survey Centre Tools

  11. LBC Exposure Time Calculator • The LBC Exposure Time Calculator especially designed for • LBC users who wants to accurately calculate total exposure time • for a particular observation in a designed filter. • According to specific input parameters it is possibile to compute: • Total AB magnitude reached in a photometric aperture given the Total Exposure Time at a particular SNR • Signal to Noise Ratio given the Total Exposure Time and the total AB magnitude in a photometric aperture • Total Exposure Time given a Total AB magnitude in a particular photometric aperture at a given SNR These parameters are computed according to input constraints such as FILTER, SEEING, PHOTO_APERTURE, AIRMASS, MOONPHASE And can be computed taking into account one of the following Single Exposure Time constraints: NUMBER OF EXPOSURES, SINGLE EXPOSURE TIME, SKY BACKGROUND, MAGNITUDE OF SATURATION
