  5. TOD Housing Program • Component of Governor’s Strategic Growth Plan • Funded by Proposition 1C, the Housing and Emergency Shelter Trust Fund Act of 2006 • Governed by Statue: Health & Safety Code Section 50560 et. seq.

  6. Resources Available • $285 million total • $95 million per year for 3 years (planned) • FY 07/08 funds must be spent by 4/2012

  7. Primary Program Goals • Produce housing, with affordable units • Get people out of cars and on transit

  8. Program Administration • Administered by HCD, in collaboration with Caltrans Division of Mass Transportation • First NOFA – November 2007 • Applications Due – February 2008 • Funding Decisions – June 2008
