  2. Job Offers My job offers for Money Matters include Houston, TX, Castleton, IN, and, Chicago, IL.

  3. Houston, TX In Houston, TX I get a salary of 80,000 dollars, taxing will cost $20,000, housing will cost $9,360. Food will cost $10,720, utilities will cost $3,000. Also clothing will cost $1,200, health will cost $450, and entertainment will cost $6,460. That leaves me with $28,810.

  4. Houston, TX Houston, TX is an urban city. The size of Houston is 627.8 square miles, but, 599.59 square miles are land and the other 27.9 square miles are water. The climate in Houston goes from a high of 93 degrees in August to a low of 45 degrees in January. Some universities in Houston include the University of Houston, Houston Community College, and Texas Southern University. In Houston I would own a car, my mom told me she would buy me one and I will drive to Michigan once or twice a year. A college football team in Houston is University of Houston, home of the Houston Cougars. entertainment in Houston includes 9 shopping centers, 3 lakes and 9 parks.

  5. Castleton, IN In Castleton, IN I get a salary of $55,000, $13,750 going to taxes, $5,880 going to housing, $7,280 going to food. Also 3,000 dollars going to utilities, 1,000 dollars going to clothing, 450 going to my health and 6,460 going to my entertainment. That leaves me with 17,180.

  6. Castleton, IN Castleton is a suburban city. Castleton is in Marion County, the size of Marion County is 396.25 square miles. Since I live in Indianapolis, the weather in Indianapolis matters, the high is 84 degrees in July, the low is 34 degrees in January. Some universities near Castleton are Indiana University, Marion College and the ITT Technical Institute. In Castleton I would own a car, my mom told me she would buy me one and I will drive to Michigan once or twice every 2 months. One university in Indianapolis is Marion College, home of the Indianapolis Knights Athletics. Entertainment in Castleton includes Indianapolis Zoo and Castleton Square Mall.

  7. Chicago, IL In Chicago I make a salary of 85,000 dollars a year, taxing will cost $21,250, housing will cost $18,312. Food will cost $10,720, utilities will cost $3,000. Also clothing will cost $1,200, health will cost $450, and entertainment will cost $4,260. That leaves me with $25,808.

  8. Chicago, IL Chicago is an urban city and is 234 square miles, but 6.9 square miles of Chicago are water. Chicago’s weather goes from a high of 85 degrees in July to a low of 16 degrees in January. Some colleges in Chicago include The University of Illinois, Loyola University Chicago, and DePaul University. If I move to Chicago, I will take the L to work. I will visit Detroit once a month. One of the sports teams in Chicago are the Chicago Bears from the NFL. Entertainment in Chicago includes The Shedd Aquarium, Lincoln Park Zoo, Wrigley Field, and the Navy Pier.

My Choice I chose Chicago, IL out of my three job offers, Castleton, IN, Houston, TX, and Chicago, IL. • Chicago has a similar climate to Detroit, witch means I don’t need to adjust to any new climate. • Chicago is very close to Michigan, so, I can go home a lot more than Houston, TX or Castleton, IN. • Chicago has a lot of public transportation (bus, L, walking, ect.) witch means I don’t need a car, gas or car insurance.
