  3. Wikipedia Search • Websites have many functions and can be used in various of fashions • Websites can be products of an individual, group or organization • Usually dedicated to a particular topic or purpose.

Categories of websites • Static sites: serve or capture information but do not allow engagement with the audience directly. • Multimedia/Interactive sites: which are geared to the Web 2.0 community, allows for interactivity between the site owner and site visitors or followers. • Dynamic sites: changes or customizes itself frequently and automatically

  5. Types of websites (to name a few) • Personal: blogs (online diaries), Facebook, Instagram • Corporate: used to provide background information about a business, organization or service • Government: website created by local, state or department or national government of a country.
