Background • Develop and deliver programs and resources related to forest and ecosystem health • 120 million hits from 14 million users last year • Invasive.org, SE-EPPC and National EPPC web sites • Developed EDDMapS for Southeast EPPC and Florida EPPC • Tony Pernas contacted me to adapt EDDMapS for the Everglades CISMA

  3. Early Detection and Distribution Mapping System • Allow for Electronic Reporting of Invasive Species point data • Uses E-mail to Alert designated resource contacts • Integrates with Google Maps to choose locations and map locations • Can be integrated with Management Information

Bugwood Image Database System(Forestry Images, Invasive.org, Insect Images, IPM Images) • Started Collecting Images is 1995 • Website Online in 2001 • 58,000 Images from 1200 Photographers • Covering 9485 Subjects • 27,000 Images of Insects, Mammals, Reptiles, Birds, etc • 20,000 Images of Plants • 4,000 Images of Plant Diseases • Over 8,000 images from outside the U.S. • Images are Free for Non-profit Educational Uses with Credit to Photographer and Website
