In the market, it’s needed to have higher efficient management for the even enhanced MIS facilities, and meanwhile, IT staff needs total solutions to be even easier operation to thoroughly manage all kinds of servers. • The KVM-440/450 are D-Link’s first KVM devices with USB interface which are widely used on rack mounted server machines. Also, by way of remote control plus equipped with USB and PS2 interface, they can flexibly fit in the server room for various applications. • The launch of KVM-440/450 brings high-level users even more efficient and stable services, and also, can be adopted to well associate with even large-scale MIS facilities. In addition, by way of remote control, IT staff won’t be required to stand by on site no more but still can monitor the status of servers and provide immediate operation so as to ensure all services working normally.

  4. Console your Keyboard/Mouse via PS/2 at will. Connect computers via PS/2 and/or USB at will. Supports Windows, Linux, Mac OS9/OSX, Sun Microsystems. On-Screen-Display (OSD) & Cascade Chain functions. OSD is intuitive menus driven for quick and efficient navigation. Supports Daisy chain with 3 level cascades: up to 3 levels; control up to 16/256/4096 PCs (16-Port), from a single console; cascaded units don’t need special configuration. Emulates PS/2 or USB keyboard on each PC to allow your computers to boot normally without a keyboard error. Supports hot-pluggable. All devices connected to the KVM can be added or removed at any time, without shutting the unit down.
