  8. MRC Units in Utah All 12 local health districts have established a MRC

  9. Tooele County Medical Reserve Corps • To recruit, train, coordinate and mobilize a competent medical and logistical support unit to augment existing emergency management and public health infrastructure during a natural or man-made disaster in Tooele County. Mission

  10. Tooele County Medical Reserve Corps • MRC goal: • Improve and augment public health/medical emergency preparedness programs. • Improve health literacy • Increase disease prevention Goal

  11. Tooele County Medical Reserve Corps • MRC units include: • Medical professionals • Physicians, Nurses, Pharmacists, Dentists, Vets, Epidemiologists • Public Health Professionals • Community Members • Interpreters, chaplains, office and support staff, legal advisors, etc Members
