  6. 1st EHIS round • Eurostat provides financial support to the Member States for carrying out activities related to the EHIS implementation (sampling, IT application, staff training, fieldwork, data processing, etc.). HLY 2006 and update on EHIS

  7. Results from the implementation of EHIS • Eurostat expectations: • national linguistic version of the EHIS modules • other survey materials • description of the survey hosting the EHIS modules according to the EHIS quality categories and criteria developed by Partnership on Public Health Statistics • description of the difficulties encountered during the implementation of the EHIS modules and recommendations for the future • micro-data file according to the guidelines provided (within 12 months ending the data collection) HLY 2006 and update on EHIS

Updating the EHIS guidelines • 1st version of the EHIS guidelines presented in June 2007 to the TG HIS • Continuous update based on comments/questions received • An official updated version will be uploaded once a year in the public part of CIRCA, Public Health Statistics interest group, in the folder Methodologies and data collections – Health Interview Survey – European Health Interview survey (EHIS) 2007-2008 methodology (after the TG HIS meeting) HLY 2006 and update on EHIS
