    19. Point to Ponder 6.3 (p.111) Are Toys Important? I asked a number of people from a variety of backgrounds if it is important for babies to have toys to play with. The answer in every case was yes. I think that this attitude shows the selling job that early childhood professionals and the commercial world have done to convince the public that toys are related to intelligence.
