CHEMS – Software Status • Version 4.72 (Jan) Global • New Equipment Rates • Printer Driver(s) / Minor fixes • Version 4.73 (Aug) * Beta * • Winter Rate update in January • Printer Drivers / Fuel Interface • Global release 4.73 (Dec) • Equipment Rate Updates • Check the release notes for information

CHEMS – Server • Don’t change your CHEMS server • No server needed for CHEMSPRO • Citrix Servers • AREV CHEMS NOT Supported, CHEMSPRO OK • Can’t use a slow link (1-3MB T1 / Radio) • AREV CHEMS NOT Supported, CHEMSPRO OK • Do NOT get rid of your existing server! • Unplug it but don’t let it out of your sight

CHEMS – Workstation Just about any newer version of Windows is OK • Many counties are running Win XP-pro • MS will retire Windows 2K July 2010 • Not sure about Windows 7 coming out • Should really be on XP, Vista or Windows 7 • Computer • Bigger & Faster is always better • Any Windows capable computer will work • Can’t use a 64bit workstation OS for CHEMS • Windows Vista (32 bit only 4GB or less memory)

  9. CHEMSPRO – Status • Training / Review / Testing • Coding Finished (99%) • Database / Infrastructure • User Acceptance Testing • One County Goes Live

CHEMSPRO – Acceptance Test • Starts next week – 10/19-10/23 • All counties / All users / Test data • Duplicate your work in CHEMSPRO • Report any problems and I will fix them • Thursday 10/22 @ 10AM ~ Noon • All users do something in CHEMSPRO • Want 100+ concurrent users • Final verification • I expect hardware/software issues… • Let’s find anything now in “test”

CHEMSPRO – Live Parallel Test • Successful Acceptance Testing… • Resolved the outstanding issues • Winnebago will Parallel Test - 11/1 ? • Successful Parallel Testing… • Winnebago will go “live” • Another county will parallel (Dev Sites) • Successful Parallel Test(s) • Others parallel now if they wish • Convert remaining counties

  13. CHEMSPRO - Conversion When it’s time to convert your county… • Same process we are using now • Upload your data on a Friday • I convert your data on the weekend • Start using CHEMSPRO on Monday • If it doesn’t work for some reason • Use existing AREV CHEMS system
