  4. Family • He had children named Jan Brueghel the Elder, and Pieter Brueghel the younger • He did not have any brothers or sisters. Pieter painted this with his older son Netherlandish Proverbs

  5. Education He was influenced by French and Italian artists during his journeys. He worked for Coecke van Aekst, who was an artist, sculptor, and designer of tapestry and stained glass • When he traveled to Italy in 1551, he completed a lot of paintings and landscapes.
