Enrollment Requirements for International Graduate Students at the University of Arkansas

International students at the University of Arkansas must adhere to specific academic and immigration requirements. Full-time enrollment is mandatory during fall and spring terms, with graduate students needing a minimum of 9 credit hours without a graduate assistantship, or 6 credit hours with a 50% graduate assistantship. Summer enrollment is not required unless specified by an assistantship. It's important to note that enrollment in courses at off-site locations is no longer allowed for additional hours. Maintaining full-time status is crucial to avoid loss of immigration status. Consult your ISS counselor for reduced enrollment policies.
