  4. Radius • The distance from the center to the edge of a circle it is half of the circles diameter.

  5. Diameter • A straight line going through the center of a circle connecting two points on the circumference.

  6. Sample problem 2 r • This circle has a diameter of 20 • It has a radius of 10 • A= x • A=3.14 x 10 • A=3.14 x 100 • A=314 2 Dia=20 R=10
