  3. Omaha Public Schools: • Webster Elementary Teacher, 1940-47 • Rosewater Elementary Principal, 1947-49 • Webster/Jefferson Elementary Teacher, 1949-51 • Robbins & Corrigan Elementary Principal, 1951-56 • Benson West Elementary Principal, 1956-76

Clark, 1959 --“Under that bullet proof armor of hers was a heart of gold.” --“She cared deeply about every student and family in that school.” --”We had unwavering love and respect for a tall, grand figure from Benson West Elementary. We knew we were safe at all times with her presence.”

  5. “”She taught teachers how to be teachers, just as much as she taught her kids. She was a very active individual in the whole OPS program…Even though she was at a certain position at a certain school, she put the whole district first.” --Knutzen (former OPS superintendent)
