What is RecordTS? • RecordTS is a session recording utility designed for Terminal Services and Remote Desktop, working at the protocol (RDP/ICA) level. • Records everything users are doing when connected to a Terminal Server or any other server/computer using RDP or ICA. • Recorded files can be digitally signed (to prevent tampering) and stored locally or in a remote location.

Why RecordTS? • Provides easy auditing of user activities. • Records everything users are doing for security/audit compliance. • Helps confirming networks are secure and compliant to existing regulations. • Excellent for monitoring third party vendors working on your servers. • Assists in detecting unethical user activity.

RecordTS vs. Screen Recorders • RecordTS works at the protocol level making it scalable on TS/Citrix environments. • RecordTS records everything that happens at the protocol stream, such as files transferred, print jobs, audio, serial port data - basically all virtual channel communications. • RecordTS can be configured to record only certain users and applications. • RecordTS was developed from the ground up with Terminal Services in mind, making it a true server based computing solution.
