  2. Kusturba Medical College Kasturba Medical College (KMC) was established in the year 1955 by Dr TMA Pai. The objectives of Kasturba Medical College are to prepare the students for the compassionate and humanistic practice of medicine, and promote excellence in health care through extensive research and training.

  3. Recognitions and Affiliations Kasturba Medical College is a unit of Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Manipal which was conferred the Deemed University status. The college is recognized by Medical Council of India (MCI).

Courses Offered • Under Graduate: MBBS • No. of Seats: 250 • Post Graduate Courses • M.D: • Anesthesiology, Anatomy, Biochemistry, Dermatology, General Medicine, Microbiology, Pediatrics, Pathology, Pharmacology, Physiology and Radio diagnosis. • M.S : • General Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics and Otorhinolaryngology. • Diploma : • Anesthesiology, Clinical Pathology, Child Health,  Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Otorhinolaryngology.

Admission Details • Eligibility Criteria • For admission to Medical you have to be completed the age of 17 years as on 31st December of the year of the admission. • Educational Qualification • A candidate must have passed two year PUC examination conducted by the PUC Board of Karnataka State with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics as optional subjects • A candidate must score with a minimum of 55 % marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English

Admission Process • Indian Candidates: The students must qualify in MU-OET (Manipal University ONLINE Entrance Test (MU-OET). • Among the total number of seats available, 85% of the total seats are reserved for general merit candidates and 15% of the total seats are reserved for International students. • Foreign students desiring admission should produce: • No Objection Certificate from the Department of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, New Delhi. • An eligibility Certificate from the Manipal Academy of Higher Education • Manipal. • Student Visa. • Residential Certificate.
