Mission and Vision Statement As Pakistan struggles with water pollution, it has become a major problem in the country, Hydralife’s goal is to provide significant changes to Pakistan by providing clean water resources. This will create safe drinking water for people and livestock, clean irrigation water for farming and exports, and also for industrial use. We plan to effectively develop, utilize and monitor the water resources of Pakistan.

Country/Cultural Profile • Water plays a vital role in Pakistan’s economy • 90 % of the country’s agricultural output, which represents about ¼ of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and most of the export earnings, depends on irrigation water • The main domestic and industrial water source for Pakistan is the Indus River

Country/Cultural Profile • The Indus River pre-flood and post-flood and you can see how the floodwater surged onto the surrounding area • Approximately four million people are homeless, and millions more at risk of disease • The floods destroyed more than 20% of agriculture. • 1.3M displaced from flood, devastation to land-crops, schools, homes, and businesses; which means that there is no infrastructure in place since the flood

Country/Cultural Profile The United Nations has said that Pakistan’s floods puts 3 million children at risk of diseases carried by contaminated water and insects Families are currently using un-sanitized water mixed with wheat to eat Currently rescue workers struggle with trying to provide clean water and food to millions of people

Proposed Product/Service • By starting at the center of Pakistan, which is KotAddu, • We want to help the heavily affected areas and then work our way out • Seeing as though it is becoming increasingly difficult to get supplies to these areas, creating a water filtration system will help improve the quality of water and prevent water borne diseases

PUR Technology • The PUR packet was developed by Procter & Gamble (P&G) • It enable people a quick, simple, affordable and easily transportable way to clean dirty water. • The PUR packets has contributed to more than one billion liters of clean drinking water have been provided by global relief organizations

PUR Technology • PUR packet water purifier is a small sachet of powdered ingredients that make contaminated water disinfection • This innovation turns 10 liters of dirty, potentially deadly water into clean and drinkable water • Studies done by the CDC and John Hopkins University have proved that the PUR packets were highly effective eliminate disease causing microorganisms

SkyJuice Technology • SkyJuice Foundation has created an application for emergency and disaster relief. • As a lightweight, sustainable and affordable water filtration system for humanitarian • The system is a solar powered bulk water supply • Three model types: SkyHydrant, SkyStation and SkyTower
