This study examined the influence of parenting styles on health behaviors of adolescents in Los Angeles. Data was collected from high school Health Sciences and Career Planning classes with parental consent. Results highlighted the link between authoritarian parenting and adolescent health choices. Further research is recommended to explore implications and limitations of the findings.
