Cause To promote the Beidou automotive applications industry in Taiwan civil operational matters, TTIA coordinate and plan to cooperate fully with related Association in Beijing, Xiamen to integrate the elite from academic, industrial and research institutes to establish GNSSPA working group for the preparatory work: G-Global N - Network S - Satellite S - SystemP-Promotion A – AllianceGlobal Network Satellite System Promotion Alliance (GNSSPA)

  3. 2. Estimated Effects to achieve • To Provide humanity rescue • To improve farmers & fishermen’s living • Cultivate the satellite industry • Connect with international standard

  4. 3. Goals and Execution Methods (1). The members of GNSSPA will include Professors and elites from Ocean University, Feng-Chia University, and about 20 industry representatives from global satellite operators in Taiwan. (2). GNSSPA future will participate in the establishment of 5 major industrial chain, in the integration of the various relevant work and operations, including R&D of antennas, chip development, module integration, map data terminal equipment and the final operations.

  5. 3. Goals and Execution Methods (3). GNSSPA will serve 4 global satellite systems (Baido, GPS, Galileo, ERA Glonass) promotion operations in Taiwan, especially in the LBS business, initially Baido and GPS services will be based. (4). GNSSPA will consult the experts in related associations actively to establish Taiwan's satellite industry standards, test specifications and test field and provide certification services.

Initially to supply the exclusive automotive OBU equipment, exclusive marine communications equipment, proprietary mobile devices and traffic information broadcasting solution to begin the business operations. (6).GNSSPA will focus on services to meet the needs of Taiwan four major areas: • a. Disaster prevention, response and rescue, mitigation • b. marine, fisheries • c. forestry, animal husbandry, power generation industry and other alpine regions LBS demand • d. Intelligent Transportation, Transportation (7). To accept and provide other commissioned project and other related services to other associations and organizations.

  7. Satellite Marine Terminal Cabinet shipborne navigation and communication terminals • Aside from achieving navigation, positioning, timing, speed and communication functions, but also as shipboard servers, with the ship digitization equipment and shipboard computer system build LAN, and gathering information on the ship and crew Short Message Service.

  8. Portable shipborne navigation terminal Equipped with electronic charts, dual navigation chip (compatible GPS), GPRS module, powered by lithium batteries, to achieve coastal, riverside area navigation, positioning and timing, speed and communication functions, but also as a personal communication tool for the crew, maintenance management tools and equipment parameters, mainly assembled in the coastal, river shipping and fishing vessels 。
