  1. Midterm yo! Create a replica masterwork You must pick a work of art from an artist list that MUST have a figure represented in the work.

  2. Process : Find • Select artist from list • Select a figurative work • Print a HIGH RESOLUTION color photo of painting • Bring in for approval. Must have color print out for approval.

  3. Draw • Make a B&W copy of painting • Grid copy • Make detailed gridded drawing of painting • Remember proportions

  4. Color • Transfer gridded drawing to tag board • Use any color material to create replica

  5. Details and Dates • Must be 16”x20” • 10-20 hours • Be AWESOME • Image approval by me- Friday November 30th • Drawing/plotting of artwork - Friday December 7th • Painting Due during your exam week - December 18- 20
