Population density: 25.7 inhabitants/km2 (average density in Europe, 116.8 inhabitants/km2 ) • After services (59.85%), farming is the second sector employing workers, with 16.6% of all employed persons in the region • Unemployment rate: 22%

Indicators 2000-2001 Education Technology Network • Objective 2005 : ratio 1 computer per 2 students • In 2002 the ratio is 9,5 students per computer at secondary schools, and 19,1 at primary schools. • In 2002, 16 schools has already complete the ratio. • The 90% of schools have computers.
