XP Fund Code • Definition: • “XP” = Authorization for Non-Interfund Billing. • Background: • DoD Financial Management Regulation, Volume 4, Chapter 3, Section 0305, requires any military service requsitioner who has the capability to use the interfund billing system. • Interfund billing system allows suppliers to reimburse themselves from appropriations designated by the customer, at the time of billing. • Interfund bills provides both “bills” and “notices” to a customer that its funds have been charged and the “bill” paid.
