26. How do I get into Surveying? Pre-requisites Undergraduate Study • University of New South Wales: Maths Ext 1 & Physics preferred. Bridging courses available. TAFE articulation encouraged for diploma qualified students. Up to 25% exemption for prior learning. • University of Newcastle: Recommended studies: Math Extension 1 or higher. Assumed knowledge: Maths (B and 5 or above) or equivalent Study of one science related subject would be an advantage. TAFE surveying diploma students receive 25% exemption for prior learning.
