  3. Why do we use CT Scans? • Higher resolution images= stronger diagnoses • Can provide more information about the disease • Shows if your are responding to treatment

  4. How are CT scans used? • Patient lies on table • Go through the center • You can experience large whirling sounds • The contrast agent or dye is injected or swallowed before the CT scan ends
