  3. Remembering the Bataan Death March-appealing to Americans to continue working hard until the Japanese were defeated. These racist images of the Japanese were common after Pearl Harbor.

  4. This poster urges Americans to save vital gasoline supplies for the war effort.

  5. Once again, a shadow is used effectively to convey the threat of Nazism, particularly to innocent children.

  6. Americans were reminded of the freedoms that they still enjoyed during the war.

  7. The United States government urged people to conserve unlikely items such as office supplies.

  8. It was important to remind people that spies were inside the United States. Loose talk could result in the deaths of American servicemen.
