Working Process • Working Assignment: • People Based Task, Client-Server – TomerKeshet • Specific Location Tasks, Map Display – Moti Berger and ShiranChityat • Astrid Database interfacing and management and a smart notification management – AlonDener • Difficulties • Understanding Astrid’s code and coding accordingly • Easier then it seemed: • Setting up a server with Google AppEngine.

The Next Step • New Features: • Reminders by specific locations • Reminders by people’s locations • Smart notification system supporting location based notifications • A map view of all locations relevant to any of the tasks • MileStone3 – User Experience (in days): • Smart notification alert radius – auto configured by user’s speed (car/foot) (3) • Mailing Service – send mails when a user does not use AroundRoid People Location Service for a long time, invite friend to join (3) • Using Andoird’s Contact List to find friends that are connected / registered to AroundRoid People Location (3) • Economical battery consumption , using SkyHook (or other) (7) • Error Handling and Advanced integration with Astrid (7) • Suggestion of frequently used locations (2)
