  3. Who built fort Duquesne? Well who did build Fort Duquesne? Fort Duquesne, was built in 1754. It was used between 1754-1758. The fort was ruled by France and Great Britain. Fort Duquesne was built near the Allegheny and Monongahela rivers come together to form the Ohio river. The French built Fort Duquesne.

  4. THE WAR OF FORT DUQUESNE • HAVE YOU HEARD ABOUT THE WAR OF FORT DUQUESNE? THE BATTLE OF FORT DUQUESNE WAS A BRITISH ASSULT. ON THE EPMOYMOUS FRENCH FORT THAT WAS REPULSED WITH HEAVY LOSSES ON SEPTEMBER ,14 , 1758 DURING THE FRENCH AND INDIAN WAR. THE ATTACK ON FORT DUQUESNE WAS APPART OF A LARGE-SCALE BRITISH EXPOSITION WITH 6,000 TROOPS.

  6. How it was built. • In April 1754 Virginian construction forces began their labors but where driven away by vastly superior French force. Work was then completed on a structure that became known as Fort Duquesne name in honor of the governor-general of New France.
