  3. OBJECTIVES OF RSPP’S COMMITTEE ON TECHNICAL REGULATION, STANDARDIZATION AND CONFORMITY ASSESSMENT The Committee was established in July 2004. In the work of the Committee of the RSPP are involved more than 2,000 experts from all industries. • The main objectives: • Involvement of industry in the technical regulation reform • Coordination of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs efforts in the reform of technical regulation and standardization • Implementation of cooperation with industry associations, government bodies • Organization of International Cooperation on technical regulation Pumpyanskiy D.A.   15. COOPERATION AGREEMENT BETWEEN ROSSTANDART AND CEN/CENELEC September 17, 2013 in St. Petersburg hosted the signing of a cooperation agreement between CEN/CENELEC and Rosstandart. The new agreement will allow to: • Russian and European industry jointly develop standards that take into account climatic, geographical conditions and technological features. • Make European standards more useful by Russian industry, which will facilitate the access of European companies on the domestic Russian market. • Use European standards upon their acceptance as national in Russia as evidence of technical regulations of the Customs Union.
