Echinochloa colunum- Capim- arroz • Características: Planta herbácea, anual, 20-40 cm de altura, ereta, com reprodução por sementes. • Importância econômica: Comum em solos úmidos,e em lavouras de arroz inundado. Hospedeiro do vírus da cana-de-açúcar. Sua semente não germina se o solo estiver inundado com uma lâmina de água de mais de 1 cm.
