Intern arc • 10 blocks during the course of the year • 45 minutes in duration • Starting up first thing at 10:30am • Room 7601 • One dedicated facilitator who will lead and guide during the session • Serve as a foundation for more advanced curriculum that takes place during “Senior ARC” • An introduction to biostatistical content • Develop and refine your approach to the reading, interpretation, and application of scientific literature to your every-day practice of medicine

Arc expectations • Arrive at each session having completed the following: • Pre-requisite article and/or online reading or viewing of other electronic content • Pre-requisite resident guide with questions • During the ARC session: • Active participation in: • Presentations • Guide review • Lectures • Respectful debate and discussion with your peers on the content reviewed

Senior arc • 10 blocks during the course of the year • 45 minutes in duration • Starting up first thing at 10:30am • Foley Library • One dedicated facilitator who will lead and guide during the session • Advanced curriculum to build off and review concepts practiced in Intern ARC • Presentations and Work-Shops to advance research skills and interests • An opportunity to practice and develop bio-statistical skills for own research endeavors • Develop and refine your approach to the reading, interpretation, and application of scientific literature to your every-day practice of medicine

RRQI Program Basics • Application process with two tiers of experience and expectations • Meant to provide an opportunity for a more rigorous and dedicated research and QI experience in residency • Must be available and in-town during research blocks • Breach of rule will be documented as ‘unprofessional’ in file and may result in disciplinary action • Research time is substitution for consult time
