This report provides an overview of Mexico's institutional and regulatory framework for climate change adaptation, as well as the current adaptation plan and ongoing policies. It also covers funding sources and lessons learned in accessing funding for adaptation projects.

Climate Change Adaptation Plan/ Policy • Indicate your Country´s Adaptation Plan (if any) • Purpose • Main issues • How many years (time horizon) your country´s plan is being scheduled to last • List 3 to 5 main projects being identified and / or executed so far • For these main projects, please indicate • Project name • Type • A brief description of main component (s) • Funding alternatives • Already budgeted? • Included in investment planning system? • Funding sources identified? • (A suggestion is made to use one slide only per each main project identified)

Ongoing Plan / Policy being enforced (applies to countries currently lacking a plan or a policy) • Critical areas identified (highly vulnerable) • Priority areas identified • Surveys conducted, or under way? • List surveys and include goals • Any projects identified so far? • List and include goals • If no projects have been identified so far, or under way, • has any project been considered? Type of project? Estimated value? • What areas need support to define an adaptation plan, and to identify projects as required?
