Phase 1 (September, 2019-October, 2019) • Discussions and surveys with stakeholders to guide device type and curriculum. • Analyze data to create a shared vision of teaching and learning • Phase 2 (November, 2019-January, 2020) • Selection committee will begin evaluating devices based on a matrix that examines compatibility, instructional needs, cost, functionality, and required computer minimum specifications.  The selection committee will be comprised of the district technology coaches, IT staff, curriculum department, media specialists, teachers, and principals. Also, times will be allotted for district staff to have hands-on usage and feedback. • Reallocation of current Lenovo Thinkpad devices in grades 9-12 to support programs requiring additional or classroom computers, such as PLTW, Cyber Security, Graphic Design, Engineering, etc. Device Refresh Timeline

Phase 3 (January, 2020-August, 2020) • Coordinated communication plan for transitions across the district • Provide Just-in Time Training (JIT) along with planned sessions for development to staff. JIT consists of various methods that are housed in a central repository and easily accessible to staff for “on-demand” help and tutorials. This allows teachers to have access to a centralized location for essential help on various software and Google GSuite.
