  7. Delta Company 2-46 Infantry Battalion It is the soldier who fights; the soldier who bleeds and dies, if he must; it is the soldier who brings home the victory. Where does he get his devotion? I wish I could say we issue it to him in the Army but we can only help him find it. He brings it with him from the family, the church, and the schools of his home town, or he doesn’t bring it at all.

  8. Delta Company 2-46 Infantry Battalion A good name is more desirable than great riches, to be esteemed is better than silver or gold. Proverbs 22:1 Being a male is a matter of birth; being a man is a matter of choice. Ben Kinchlow Character is who you are when no one is looking.

  9. Delta Company 2-46 Infantry Battalion Oath of Enlistment I do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military justice. So help me God.

  10. Delta Company 2-46 Infantry Battalion Democracy is the best system of government yet devised but it suffers from one grave defect -- it does not encourage those military virtues which, in an envious world, it must frequently depend on for survival. Major Guy Du Maurier ... that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth. Abraham Lincoln

  11. Delta Company 2-46 Infantry Battalion As for the enemies of freedom, to those who are potential adversaries, they will be reminded that peace is the highest aspiration of the American people.
