  7. Debate Debate practice is Mondays during lunch and Wednesday afternoons (3:15-4:15) in Mrs. Williams' room (215) .  Please come to either or both to prepare for our next tournament in late September.  13

  8. Red Cross Club The RED CROSS CLUB’S first meeting of the school year is on Monday, September 12th during lunch in Mrs. Kelly’s room. Come if you wish to participated in blood drives and other health related activities! See Eriny Hanna for further information. 13

Volunteer Opportunity Dr. Tammy Lipsey, District Reading Coordinator at MNPS, will be meeting with students at lunch in the auditorium on Wednesday, Sept. 14th to discuss training sessions for tutors who are interested in working in one of the MNPS Reading Clinics.  Tutors would be working with students grades K-4.  Beta Club members and National Honor Society members are especially encouraged to attend. 13
