  1. 3-3-5 StackBase Defense The 3-3-5 Stack Defense is an attacking Defense that allows for multiple looks and the ability to easily adjust to any formation. The base rules are very easy to learn as well as the call stunts. The simplicity of the Defensive scheme allows us time to improve fundamental skills. The base pass coverage is cover 3, although we will use multiple zone and man schemes, as well, depending on the situation and the call that is made. Flow TypesAll Linebackers and safeties have to recognize the path of the back and try to emulate it. Inside Flow- Any Flow between the Guards. Iso, Trap, DiveAngle Flow- Any Flow from the Guards to the TE. Power, Veer, WhamFast Flow- Any Flow out side the TE. Sweep, Toss, FlySplit flow- Any 2 back Flow in which both backs go opposite directions. Counter Trey, Trap Flow Rules for Lou and Rob- Inside Flow To- B gap and spill everything. Vs Iso hit the lead back on the inside hip.Inside Flow Away- Fill the B gap and make sure there is no cut backAngle Flow To- Fill towards the B gap, if color in the hole play back outside.Angle Flow Away- Nose up and Scrape behind the ball play cut backFast Flow To- Get to the ball, spill any lead blockersFast Flow Away- Scrape and stay behind looking for reverse unless a “I am Here” call is madeSplit Flow- Play Slow, Check secondary key ie the line for play type. Flow Rules for Mac- Inside Flow- Playside A Gap. If color in the hole play towards backside Spill all lead blockersAngle Flow- Secure A Gap for Cutback and look for a seam. If no seam play over the top Inside/Out relationship to the ballFast Flow- Over the Top right now, Inside/out relationship to the ballSplit Flow- Secure A Gap and check secondary Key center. Flow Rules for Aztecs- Inside Flow- Fold back slowly, make sure ball does not bounce outside. All inside tackles will be made at 3-5 yards.Angle Flow To- Read the EMOL. Force Player- Vs Angle Flow Spill all Blockers force the ball to bounce.Angle Flow Away- 1st Key EMOL. Fold Player. Pulls Away- check boot then Fold. Scoops away- Check Reverse and Fold.
