  1. Whakakāoretia katahi ka whakapākehatia ēnei rerenga. Negate these sentences then translate them in to english. • Kei te tunu ia i te kai? • Kua wehe te whānau i te whare. • Kei te whakapai koe i tō whare? • Kua patu te ngeru i te manu? • E pōwhiri ana te iwi i ngā manuhiri.

  2. Whakamāoritia katahi ka whakakāoretia ēnei rerenga. Translate in to māori and then negate. • Have the children washed the dishes? • The dog jumped the fence. • He brought the snappers. • Mary will write the book. • They(3+) are climbing the tree

  3. Mahi kainga The old ladies are inside the kitchen Where are the kids? Where is the hotel? Kei hea ngā kuia? Kei roto ngā tamariki i te puna Kei runga te hōtōra i te maunga

  4. Mahi kainga Where were they(3 or more)? The food were on the table The boys were outside I runga rātou i te tuanui I hea ngā kai? I hea ngā tamati?
