  1. Top 10 Standard Procedures for Inspecting JCB Heavy Machinery Before Delivery Before any JCB heavy machine reaches a customer, checks are done. Every part is inspected, and each feature is tested. Safety must be ensured before the machine leaves the yard. But what are the actual steps followed by experts? Which systems are checked first, and what details are focused on? Every JCB machine showroom should follow these inspection procedures shared below –

  2. 1. Visual Inspection of the Entire Machine The visual inspection is the first and most basic step. The entire exterior of the JCB machine is checked carefully. Inspectors look for scratches, dents, cracks, or any signs of physical damage. Paint is examined for peeling, rust, or faded areas. Glass parts like mirrors and windows are checked for chips or cracks. Safety labels and decals are verified for clarity and correct placement.

  3. 2. Fluid Levels Are Checked All fluid levels are checked before the machine is approved. Engine oil is inspected for correct level and clean color. Hydraulic oil is examined to ensure it is not low. Coolant level is checked in the reservoir and radiator. Fuel tank is filled, and any leaks are checked. Brake fluid and transmission oil are also inspected carefully. If any fluid is low, it is refilled properly. Cleanliness and proper sealing of fluid caps are ensured.

  4. 3. Hydraulic System Is Tested The hydraulic system is tested to ensure smooth performance. All hoses and lines are checked for cracks or leaks. Cylinders are inspected for damage, rust, or oil marks. Hydraulic connections are tightened if any looseness is found. Pressure is applied to check how well the system works. Movements of arms and attachments are carefully observed during tests. Any strange noise or delay is quickly noted and reported. If leaks are seen, the machine is held for repair. Proper function must be confirmed before final delivery.

  5. 4. Electrical Components Are Inspected All electrical components are carefully checked during inspection. The battery is tested for power, charge, and clean terminals. Wires and cables are examined for cuts or loose ends. Lights are turned on to check proper function and brightness. Indicators, horns, and warning signals are tested one by one. Fuses and switches are also checked for any faults. Any signs of short circuit are quickly noted and repaired. Electrical safety must be ensured before the machine is delivered. All test results are recorded for final approval.

  6. 5. Tires and Tracks Are Examined Tires and tracks are inspected for safety and durability. Tire pressure is checked using a standard pressure gauge tool. Worn-out treads are noted and replaced if necessary. Tracks are examined for alignment, damage, or missing parts. Track tension is checked and adjusted to the correct setting. Nuts and bolts on wheels are tightened if found loose. Cuts or cracks in rubber are carefully looked for. All findings are written down before moving to the next step.

  7. 6. Engine Performance Is Verified The engine is started and allowed to run for testing. Unusual sounds or vibrations are carefully listened for. Smoke from the exhaust is observed for any changes. Idle speed is checked to ensure smooth and stable operation. The throttle is pressed to test engine response and power. Oil pressure and temperature levels are closely monitored during running. Leaks around the engine area are also looked for. Any warning lights are noted and checked immediately.

  8. 7. Braking System Is Tested The braking system is thoroughly inspected by JCB telescopic handlers dealers to ensure complete operational safety. Service brakes are applied to verify responsive stopping power and precise control. Parking brakes are engaged to confirm reliable holding strength during stationary operations. Brake pedals are examined for smooth and consistent movement. Brake fluid levels are checked and refilled if needed, while brake lines are carefully inspected for any leaks. All brake-related warning indicators are tested for accuracy. Any abnormal sounds or delays are noted immediately to maintain peak performance and safety standards.
